About Me
Hello!!! My name is Janelle, and I’m currently in college working toward my dream of becoming a film editor. Ever since I was little, watching movies has been one of my favorite things to do. Over time, I realized I didn’t just love watching them. I wanted to understand how they were made and what creative choices go into telling a great story on screen.
In 2017, I started watching my favorite show, Stranger Things. That’s when I first discovered fan edits on Instagram, and they instantly caught my attention. Seeing how people could take existing clips and completely reshape them into something new sparked my curiosity about editing. What started as a small hobby quickly grew into a real passion. I loved piecing together different moments to tell a story of my own, and that’s when I knew this was what I wanted to do for the rest of my life.
My goal is to become a professional film editor and help bring stories to life through the art of editing. Editing has such a powerful role. It shapes the emotion, rhythm, and flow of a story. Without it, a film just wouldn’t feel complete. I want to be part of creating that magic.
